Funeral services for Joe Ben Abbey, Sr., 72, of Nacogdoches were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 in the Iglesia Bautista La Fe with Brother Alex Montilla officiating. Interment followed in the Whitehouse Cemetery. Mr. Abbey was born March 11, 1938 in Lufkin and died November 15, 2010 at his residence. Visitation was from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
