Funeral services for Mia “Meme” Alexis Castillo Antee, 4, of Lufkin, TX were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in the Lufkin First Assembly with Brother Joey Rudisill officiating. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Meme was born April 29, 2009 in Nacogdoches to Keeli (Blanchard) and Guillermo Castillo and died March 1, 2014 in Boyce, LA.
Memorial service for Meme was held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Wilda Baptist Church, 75 Saint Clair Road, Boyce, LA.
Meme was a student at Pineywoods Community Academy and a member of Lufkin First Assembly. She loved Jesus, family, coloring, reading, riding 4-wheelers, animals, and playing on her kindle with her sister. Purple was her favorite color and she loved eating chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese. Meme had a beautiful smile and was a “little helper”, especially for her mother.
She is survived by her father, Guillermo Castillo of Diboll; mother, Keeli and “special” dad, Paul Antee; sister, Piper Antee, all of Lufkin; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Meme was preceded in death by numerous Antee and Castillo family members.
Pallbearers were Jeffery Cook, Toby “Tony” Widmann, Mr. Scott Morse, and Joseph Harper.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
