These prices are effective February 1, 2016 and are subject to change without notice. The goods and services below are those we can provide our customers. You may choose only those items you desire. However, any funeral arrangement you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Basic Services, Funeral Directors, Staff and Overhead Our services include: personnel available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to your needs; conducting the arrangement conference; planning the funeral; consulting with the family and clergy; sheltering of remains; preparing and filing the necessary notices; obtaining the necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating with the cemetery, crematory or other third party. In addition, this fee includes a share of our basic overhead cost. This fee for our basic overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included on our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)	$2,995
Embalming Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial; however, if a family request a private viewing and we hold remains over 24 hours, embalming will be charged. In addition, the State law dictates that a body held 24 hours after death must either be embalmed, placed in refrigeration, or be encased in a container which insures against seepage of fluid and escape of offensive odors.	$595

Outer Burial Containers Price List

These prices are effective as of February 1, 2016, but are subject to change without notice.

In most areas of the country, state or local law does not require that you buy a container to surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have such a container so that the grave will not sink in. Either a grave liner or burial vault will satisfy these requirements.

General Policies

It is the policy of this Funeral Home that there will by no viewing of an unembalmed body at any public service while under our direction. State law dictates that a body held 24 hours after death must either be embalmed, placed in refrigeration, or be encased in a container which insures against seepage of fluid and escape of offensive odors. If you do not want embalming, we can arrange for refrigeration. Only the immediate family will be allowed to view an unembalmed body.
NO SERVICES ON NEW YEARS DAY, EASTER SUNDAY, MOTHERS DAY,

FATHERS DAY, LABOR DAY, THANKSGIVING DAY, AND CHRISTMAS DAY

Services on a NO SERVICE Day will be charged an extra $950.

Services on Memorial Day and July 4^th will be charged an extra $450.

Payment Options

As a small business providing services and merchandise, we are totally dependant upon our client families for prompt payment. In order for us to meet our obligations, the following payment options are available.

Payment by cash, check, MasterCard, or Visa.
Snead Linton Funeral Home prepaid funeral plan plus any cash advance items or other items not included.
Life insurance with an irrevocable assignment of verifiable proceeds equal to or greater than 2/3 the amount of funeral expenses with a down payment of 1/3 of the total funeral expenses plus cash advance items paid prior to the service date.

All cash advances & cemetery fee are to be paid before services.

It is our desire that a family selects a funeral service within their means. Therefore, we do not extend credit, which may create a financial hardship by overspending.
